Frontiers of Science Institute, better known as FSI, is a unique program in which about 30 high preforming students interesting in STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and math) are chosen through a highly selective application program. These students then spend 6 weeks living at the University of Northern Colorado campus in Greeley. Students took classes pertaining to STEM subjects such as physics, biology, chemistry and enjoyed guest lectures about immunology, web design, noble energy, and many other topics. Throughout the summer, students worked for more than 20 hours each week completing extensive scientific research. At the end of the 6 week program, students presented the findings of their research through scientific paper, websites, and presentations. The research of other students in the program can be found by clicking on the "FSI HOMEPAGE" link above then "SUMMER PROGRAM" > "STUDENT RESEARCH" > "2014 STUDENT PROJECTS".
